In 1982, 17 year old Jihane prepares her wedding. On the right, she shows all the new nightdresses she will wear during her new married life. And on the left, she shows the small fortune she will carry a few days later in her new house. She shows them delighted and proud, in front of the lens of Geryes’ camera, a young man who was the first in the village to have an 8 mm film camera.
